T-Enterprise, the Glasgow based games design and development company, is renowned for its topical and fun games and has now released a brand new viral game that takes inspiration from Wimbledon or more specifically the brand new roof over Centre Court.

Centre Court Meteor Smash features the Wimbledon Centre Court under attack from a killer meteor shower. It takes 8 minutes to put the brand new roof over the court in place, but until then it is down to you to save the grass from absolute destruction by batting the meteors away.

The game throws meteor after meteor at you for the 8 minutes it takes for the roof to close but any one that makes it past your racket will damage the grass. It takes only 3 meteors to ruin Wimbledon so you must use your racket to hit them away!

This is the latest free viral game released by T-Enterprise and can be found at http://www.t-enterprise.co.uk/wimbledonroof

To play this free game, just line the tennis racket up with the path of the meteor using your mouse and then left click to hit it away.

For every meteor you manage to hit, you get a point and can watch your score build up. They will come faster though and if you happen to let 3 through then you lose. The grass would be too damaged to play on.

Triviala, the fast-paced, interactive, free-to-play online community for all things Trivia based, has launched its latest creation – Celebrity Pedigree. Free and fun to play, Celebrity Pedigree (http://www.celebritypedigree.com) puts you in charge of your very own kennels and litter where the aim is to produce the most profitable pooch! But this is no ordinary doggy boarding house – every canine is a celebrity meaning you can mate Bark Obama with Pooches Geldof, breed Pooch Spice with Simon Growl, and even partner Jeremy Barkson with Cheryl Collie – the possibilities are endless!

The game is already proving massively popular with over 900,000 players from across the globe.

Playing is simple. Every canine alter ego has its own up-to-date fame rating based on celebrity Google rankings, to get started, choose a male and female and put them in the ‘love shack’ for the magic to happen. The result is a pup that is a combination of the parents’ fame rating and appearance. You can then decide to sell your pooch to cash in, wait for it to mature or spend some money on a brand new celeb to add to your brood.

Other celebrity dogs include Jack Russell Brand, Bichon Johnson, Kate Mosstiff, Amy Doghouse, Bone-O and Dober Moyles. The better the fame-pedigree, the higher the sale price of the pup. It’s not all plain sailing though – there are hazards along the way. You could inadvertently end up with a runt!

And it’s not just for fun. By playing Celebrity Pedigree – as with the other Triviala games – you can earn yourself ‘Crowns’ which can be used to enter Triviala’s cash prize draws.

The all new, fast-paced, interactive online community for trivia lovers, Triviala gives everyone the opportunity to win big cash prizes – all for absolutely nothing! Factoid aficionados, pub quiz addicts, brain trainers and aspiring “know-it-alls” rejoice, Triviala is the new Mecca for all lovers of trivia! Simply join up for free at http://www.triviala.com/register . Anyone, from 18 years plus, can join today to win daily and weekly cash prizes of between £15 and £500.

“Celebrity Pedigree is a bit of tongue-in-cheek fun which presents celebrities in a whole new light. It’s quite an addictive play and the resulting celebrity offspring can be quite a sight to behold!,” said Julian Carter, Business Development Manager of Triviala. “Celebrity Pedigree is just the first in a long line of exciting viral games we have planned so stay tuned for more.”

Other Triviala games include:

“Question of the Day” – Answer one trivia question every day and be in with a chance to win £20 cash in the daily Triviala draw. This game doesn’t even require full registration.

“Triviala” – A daily, five trivia question game to increase your crowns.

“QuickFire” – Answer thirty rapid fire trivia question every day from a variety of topics and become Quickfire Champion. The Top Ten players win bulk crowns.

GAME, Europe’s premier video game retailer, has launched a new, innovative advergame where the prize is the player’s wish list. GAME hopes the offer of such a prize will encourage more users to create wish lists at game.co.uk.

Understanding that the campaign will have to work hard to standout from the crowd, GAME has created a concept that taps into two of the great debates among gamers: which consoles and are the best and who are the best players?

Split between ‘retro’ gamers who grew up with Pacman and Asteroids and the ‘next generation’ of consoles, such as the Wii and Playstation 3, players can choose which team they want to represent.

To ensure a successful and high quality campaign, GAME commissioned the winners of the Games category at the New Media Age Effectiveness Awards 2008, 4T2 Multimedia, for consultancy and production. 4T2 split their staff into two groups of different age ranges to produce stylised content for each of the teams in the campaign creating a passionate and competitive development.

With ten levels in the initial launch of the viral game, the campaign from GAME has a long lifespan and will be generating repeat visits for many months. Levels 1 – 7 can be played from all over the web while levels 8 -10 are only available for play on game.co.uk. Each level includes hidden crates that players can find which was tied into a weekly competition, enabling GAME to keep talking to players and give the gamers and bloggers an additional storyline to find and share where the crates were hidden.

The “Console Wars” viral game also features an integrated communication plan for all players in the form of a weekly branded e-mail containing hints tips and links to strategy guides. Players who have not yet set up a wish list will receive a custom e-mail reminding them to do so otherwise they won’t win any prizes.

The winner of “Console Wars” will receive a grand prize of £1000 worth of their wish list while five runners up will win £200 of their wish list. Each time a level is completed the player doubles their number of entries into the prize draw.

GAME has created “Console Wars” in such a way that new levels can easily be added and expanded. The video game retailer plans to engage in debate with users to find out what new characters should be added and help shape the game’s future.

GAME hopes the combination of great playability and the company’s interaction with players of “Console Wars” will encourage users to create their Christmas wish list at game.co.uk in the hope of winning the grand prize.
