Sony has just upped the stkes for entry-level music players with two new Walkman lines – the B Series and the E Series. Featuring a Walkman video MP3 player and a small, ultra light MP3 player there is something that appeals to everyone, with a range of accessories available for both series.

The new Walkman E series is just 9.3mm thick and is available in red and black. It features a 2-inch QVGA colour LCD screen which offers a crisp, detail-packed view of videos and photos. It is also designed to deliver up to 30 hours of music or 6 hours of video playback on a single charge.

The Walkman B series MP3 player is another small, ultra-light player comes in a choice of four colours with easy operation with drag-and-drop file transfers. It offers a generous 18 hrs music playback time, and if you’re in a hurry, a 3-minute charge is all that’s needed to power up for 90 mins of listening.
