3D technology is not limited to the silver screen and small screen anymore as Nintendo is bringing it into the gaming world on March 25th with the release of the Nintendo 3DS. However, unlike the theatre the cutting edge technology behind the 3DS allows you to experience state of the art 3D graphics without any special glasses so that you can use it pretty much anywhere.
Small enough to still fit in your pocket, the new Nintendo 3DS offers a stereoscopic 3D display on the upper portion of the pop-up allowing you to get a real feel for the depth and space of the playing field that extends far back into any gaming world. If you find the intensity to be a bit too much to handle you can always use the 3D slider to adjust the intensity settings down to your liking or if you prefer turned off for key moments in the game when the 3D may be too distracting for less demanding players.
Plus, much like the cutting edge technology that some mobiles built into them, you can now move throughout your gaming worlds by using the built in motion and gryo sensors that automatically react to your motions so that if you slide the gaming module to the left, right, up, or down the games instantly respond replicating your action.
Those who want to take a break from gaming for a second may find the inclusion of a 3D camera to e a unique thrill as well given the gaming system has two outer cameras that allow real life photos to be captured in full colour 3D. Add in the fact that the gaming system is available in either sleek aqua blue or cosmo black and you have one gaming device that is certainly worth a try come March.
Watch the video and if impressed you can pre-order the Nintendo 3DS here so you will have it on the day of release.
