LG has a new camera or a new phone; we’re not sure which it is. Actually, it is probably the best camera/mobile phone combination or the best mobile phone/camera combination on the market. At its heart is a 12MP camera that has 3X zoom capability by an actual optic zoom, not just digital.
The lens is by Pentax and the camera absolutely makes this unit. It captures 720p videos and has options like automatic geo-tagging. The camera is topped off by a Xenon flash and a CCD sensor. The phone aspect features 3G with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The screen has a pixel resolution of 800x 480 on a three-inch screen.
LG will launch the phone in the Japanese market. So far, there is no word on cost or when, and if, the phone will hit the European and American markets. It is highly imaginable, however, that once it gets out in Japan, everyone will want one.
