Many readers are excited about the new Lending Club that has started for Kindle users.  Amazon has taken on this task after three years to let people borrow and lend books through their Kindles.

Catherine MacDonald founded the group on Facebook.  After she started the group she set up the website to lend books.  Amazon is making money through the site with all the affiliate marketing being used.  The site is in its beginning phase so it still has a lot of knicks that they are trying to work out.  Do not get aggravated with the site.

With people being able to borrow and lend books out for free it is as if they have their own library on their Kindles.  If you borrowing a book no one else can look at it until you are done reading.  The site matches people with the books they want to read.  There are nearly 800 users on the site and thousands of books to borrow.  Publishers do have the final say whether a book can be loaned out or borrowed.  Once the Kindle Lending Club gets more established it will be a wonderful site for all Kindle users to explore.
