The latest venture by the big virgin Richard Branson, is Virgin Digital Help which is worth a look if you often find yourself struggling with iPod synching or WiFi.
The new service which launched this week is the first launch by Virgin in three years and is a support service designed for those who have problems with their gadgets on a regular basis such as problems with a computer, iPod, or a router.
If you choose to use the free version of the PC program you can access 100 articles on the most common problems, call the hotline, or ask for help from the techs via an instant message.
For those that encounter problems on a more regular basis the subscriber package at £2.99 per month may be more helpful which comes equipped with not only over 70,000 help guides, but also free antivirus software from AVG.
If you try every outlet available to you and still you cannot get your gadget to work you can call in a Virgin Digital help agent to repair your gadget or set it up for £90 per hour.
The amount of help that the Virgin Digital Help line can offer for now is limited due to the fact that they are not yet equipped to handle Mac, AV, or TV problems, but if you have any problems with MP3 players, laptops, PCS, peripherals, or digital cameras they are ready and willing to help.
