Blackberry has upgraded its line with the release of the Bold 9700 the next step up from the Bold, which has become a favourite for many in the workplace.
In reality, the new mobile is more of a computer that slides right into your pocket and lets you tweet, check emails and surf the internet, while also allowing you to make phone calls and text of course as well.
Although it does not have the sleek appeal of the iPhone, it does have a full QWERTY keyboard with keys that you can actually feel. It also has some of the most loved features as the iPhone such as WIFI and its own set of apps.
Those that are interested can pick up an unlocked version for about £400 or sign into a contract with Unlocked T-Mobile Phones for around £35 per month.
The Bold 9700 is the best choice for those who want an easy basic internet phone and enjoy typing on a real keypad versus a touch screen keypad.
It is also great for running several functions at the same time and has a much simpler menu system over the iPhone, although it does have a limited app range for those who are used to the wide selection provided by Apple.
In short, you the mobile provides you with all of the features of a typical smartphone so long as you are ok without an app to identify the type of bird you hear or a shortcut to iTunes.
