Apple’s White iPhone 4 remains somewhat of a mystery. The new Apple iPhone was scheduled for release in July, but that release was pushed back indefinitely. However, there are reports that some people are popping up with White iPhones here and there.
One of the people turning up with a White iPhone says that he got his from a pal, who explained to him that Apple in Cupertino is packed solid, full of the devices. Many people wonder why, if that is true, you haven’t been able to march into an Apple store and buy one.
Someone on an elevator apparently spotted still another Apple White iPhone. The elevator rider with the phone is reported to have commented that Apple is having problems getting the white parts from Far East suppliers, but failed to explain exactly how he had gotten his other than a friend of a friend sort of thing.
There have been other reported incidents of White Apple iPhones showing up here and there, sort of like space aliens selling ice cream.
So now, instead of the game being to wait in a long queue to get a White Apple iPhone, the game appears to be trying to spot them somewhere off hand. Perhaps plenty of them do abound, but Apple wants to start some strange sort of media buzz about them before their release.
In this day and age of unusual high tech marketing anything is possible and the remote spotting of White Apple iPhones becomes suspect.
