UK Case manufacturer Tuff-Luv have just released the edgy new “Apocalypse” series of cell phone, iphone, mp3, laptop & ebook cases. The cases feature a range of 9 different custom symbols, in a range of colours and styles, produced by a their in-house designer.
With notably bizarre advertising slogans like “Crafted to indulge the clawing beasts within”, the Apocalypse range is designed for anyone with a taste for the eccentric.
Apart from the usual goth-shop staples (spiders, skulls, and crosses), the Apocalypse line features dragons, vampires, werewolves, a stylized butterfly, celtic Cross, a tribal treble clef, and the lesser-known “tree of life” symbol.
“Each symbol is custom-made.” said designer C.M.Rogers, “We see a lot of goth and punk apparel on the market, but much of it with an inherent lack of quality. We have taken great care with the design of each symbol to produce meaningful art without the cheap camp of many of the alternatives.”
Although a specific meaning for each symbol is listed on the website, the designer commented that these descriptions are intentionally left as “a nexus for the imagination to draw from”, leaving plenty of room for personal interpretation and meaning.
