Turn waste paper into toilet paper

Instead of sending shredded documents to a recycling centre, which is expensive and consumes energy, office managers will soon be able to feed them to a different type of machine, a machine that turns the paper into toilet paper.

The unique gadget, titled the White Goat Machine, takes 40 sheets of A4 paper and in a half an hour is able to produce a roll of paper.

All together the manufacturers of the machine estimate that it costs about 10c to create the lavatory paper out of the office waste, which makes it not only good for the environment, but about six times cheaper than a standard roll of Andrex toilet paper, which retails on average at about 38pc per roll.
They suggest that the quality of the paper is about equal to a roll of Tesco value brand which weighs in at 11p a roll.

However, despite the benefits of the machine, the running costs total up to £63,000, which makes it only a practical choice for larger companies.

The machine is produced by Oriental and was displayed about a month and a half ago at the Tokyo Eco Products trade fair.

Editor of Electricpig a gadget website, James Holland stated that while some people may think their work is c**p, this takes flushing work down the loo to an entirely new place.

Holland continued to say that the idea is genius and very ecological, however extra caution will need to be taken when it comes to staples.
