Sky launching new Sky+HD box able to store 240 hours of HD

Sky has announced that it will be introducing a new Sky+HD box with a capacity of one terabyte to allow storage of up to 240 hours of personal high definition (HD) television.  This is the largest capacity HD personal video recorder in Europe.  This equates to around 100 HD movies or 740 hours of standard definition content.

In addition, Sky Anytime also increases its memory size, to allow for up to 160 hours of HD content, to view on demand.

The new box will be called the the Sky+HD 1TB.
