Apple is expected to launch the iPad entertainment tomorrow after months of anticipation in San Francisco. In fact, the Internet is already abuzz with pictures of the new gadget and alleged specifications as Apple fans cannot wait to find out more about the new gadget.
However, despite the many rumours surrounding the device it is still not known for sure what the iPad will be, if it will be a tablet, net-book, or an e-reader given the fact that Apple is notorious for staying closed mouth about their gadgets and has done a great job this time.
At the moment, the most accepted theory is that the iPad will come with a wi-fi connection regardless of what its main use is that will allow people to connect to the internet on the go, so that they can download anything from books to music to video.
It is expected that the iPad will be a larger prototype that resembles the iPod that may cost somewhere around £436 if purchased through a mobile broadband provider with a contract.
At the moment, it can be assumed that users would be billed for its usage depending on how much data they download each month. Without a mobile package, there is talk that the price tag may jump up as high as £786.
Also under speculation is what mobile provider will get the rights to distribute the item first, as the iPhone was exclusive to O2 and Carphone Warehouse initially.
