Christmas is just around the corner and with only 35 days before the big day, Gourmet Pixel has announced the release of the first Advent Calendar application available on Apple’s iPhone and 2nd generation iPod Touch models.
Once downloaded, a countdown to the 1st of December greets the user upon first opening the application and once into December, the user is able to open each relevant window and in return, will receive an interactive gift, which culminates to a spectacular interactive finale on Christmas Eve.
The application can also be used year after year, so it is cost effective. While it ticks all the boxes, in terms of classic Christmas imagery, watch out for some special surprises that the development team has added.
The “24 Christmas Days” advent calendar is available to download from iTunes.
