Olympus’s FE-340 is used as the mid-range model of Olympus’s entry level FE series of the digital cameras. The FE-340 boasts a 5x optical zoom, an 8 megapixel resolution sported with a 2.7 inch LCD mounted at the back of the camera. The camera also looks elegant with its slim and sturdy metal body. The FE-340 has started catching eyes with the looks, the specifications and also its great price tag of $155. The following are some of the specifications of the FE-340:

Visual Styling: The camera was launched with the ‘Entry Level’ status and was supposed to be cheap. But in the case of the camera, except for the price tag, there is nothing about the camera that looks cheap. The metallic body is quite strong and well-built and what’s more, it’s not even heavy. The camera is truly a super compact model.

The FE-340 is equipped with a 2.7 inch LCD display that lets you to be precise in your picturisation and also lets you to review your shots. Also there is no optical viewfinder in the camera. Performance: The FE-340 is perfected to be on par with other cameras in its class. You have to get a focus lock before you press the capture button to get the snap. You can anticipate a shutter delay of around 0.5 seconds. If you don’t get a focus lock first then you can expect a lag of 1 second. The flash needs around 5 seconds to recharge in between the shots.
