The new HTC Advantage X7510 is designed as a tweener an not the UMPC like Fujitsu U810 or HTC Shift device as it does not run the full version of windows. Although the HTC Advantage X7510 is large to be a phone or even a PDA it is pretty small compared to UMPC standards as it weighs just about 13 ounces.

Design and Specifications

Most of the people who are familiar wit the previous Advantage device the new HTC Advantage X7510 includes changes in the front facing controls. The small navigation stick has been removed including the Ok and Windows Mobile Start Menu buttons. The browser button is replaced wit the home key that displays HTC home page. The device can be used as a tablet without the keyboard or even as a notebook with the help of magnetically latching attached keyboard.

The camera lens is located at the back of the device as there is also a front facing video conference camera. there is also a speaker which can be used for speakerphone calls and multimedia and also has a normal 3.5mm stereo headset jack , ExtUSB port for charging and syncing, camera and a volume slide key. You will also find a USB or VGA-out port and a difference from the previous Advantage is that the USB or VGA hub is also included in the box. Through the adapter you can easily plug into a projector or monitor and can use the USB storage also the keyboard and mice. There are also LEDs over the display for Bluetooth/WiFi, GMS status and reminders.
