Resurrected in 2005 after being cancelled in 2002, Family Guy, the popular FOX animated series has won many a heart with its eccentric characters. The lead characters of this animated series - Brian, Chris, Stewie, Peter, Lois and Meg; all have their unique personas that are extremely appealing. Chitty chitty death bang, the third exciting episode from the first season of this series is a ‘must-watch’. The title ‘family guy: Chitty Chitty Death Bang’ creates mystery and confusion among its viewers. The episode surely makes the viewers crave for more of Family Guy stuff.
The episode starts off with Lois wanting to throw a nice bash for his child’s Stewie’s first birthday. He books the happening Cheesie Charlie’s for Stewie’s party and sends Peter and Chris to pay a deposit for the same. When Peter reaches the place, he realizes that he has lost the reservation and is afraid to irk Lois. The very smart Stewie misconstrues the real meaning of his birthday and feels that the monstrous ‘man in white’ who delivered him will push him back in his mother’s womb. Meanwhile, Meg who can’t really mix well with her schoolmates discovers a new friend called Jennifer.
To save himself, Peter tries to convince Lois that Cheesie Charlie’s is an evil place, though Lois doesn’t believe Peter for nuts. Peter lives up to her trust by declaring that that he has arranged for an extravagant birthday bash for Stewie. Stewie, for whom everybody slogs their backs off to arrange a great party, rushes to the airport to confront the ‘man in white’. The inefficient Peter fails to organize a party in time, and organizes a circus parade in Griffin’s backyard to save the day. Peter is oblivious of the fact that Lois has given Meg the permission to enjoy a party at her friend’s place. Lois feels depressed because she couldn’t get the whole family together for Stewie’s party.
Neither Lois nor Peter knows that Meg is attending a ‘cult meeting’ where the members of the meeting are likely to commit suicide by consuming poisoned punch. Meg, who doesn’t know anything about the cult meeting, is retrieved well in time by Peter. After an endearing speech, Peter and Meg open the door and see all the cult members dead. Peter insensitively believes that these people would rather feign death than let Meg accompany them to a party. The cult leader puts on the white robe and rushes to the Griffin household when he sees that Meg hasn’t had the punch and isn’t dead.
Peter and Meg rush back to the Griffin’s to get a sneak-peak of erotic cake bought by Peter. Thinking that he is the evil ‘man in white’, Stewie traps the cult leader and kills him. The end of the episode is shown with Stewie making a birthday wish and giving a thought to Adolf Hitler’s voice clip. The family guy: chitty chitty death bang is among the best Family Guy episodes. Beautifully inter-woven tales make its narrative absolutely enticing.
